MANJA SMP PLAYER GUIDE

Your guide to Manja SMP.

Economy, travel, towns, shops, jobs, progression, combat, and the commands you’ll use along the way.

SERVER GUIDE / START HERE

Start here.

You do not need to learn everything at once. Start with these core systems, then jump to whatever you need as you play.

YOUR FIRST HOUR

A simple way to get established.

  1. Get oriented at spawn.

Find the Admin Shop and the Jobs building, then check the map if you want to explore farther out.

  2. Build a starting balance.

Sell eligible resources at the Admin Shop. For Jobs, go inside the Jobs building at spawn before using /jobs.

  3. Pick a place to live.

Settle on your own, join an existing town, or save $10,000 toward creating one.

  4. Know the server rules.

Read the Rules and Constitution before getting too established.

SERVER GUIDE / ECONOMY

Economy & money.

There are multiple ways to earn money, but they serve slightly different roles in the server economy.

PRIMARY MONEY SOURCE

Admin Shop at spawn

Bring eligible resources to the Admin Shop and sell them to the server. This is the straightforward way to turn gathered materials into cash.

ACTIVITY INCOME

Jobs

Jobs pay you for different activities as you play. Go to the Jobs building at spawn first; /jobs only works while you are inside the building.

PLAYER ECONOMY

Trade & ChestShop

Player shops mostly move money between players. Build a shop, stock goods people want, and let other players buy or sell while you are away.

BASIC MONEY COMMANDS

Check it. Move it. Fund things.

SERVER GUIDE / TRAVEL

Travel & teleport prices.

Teleporting is intentionally a convenience with a cost. Roads, rails, horses, towns, and physical distance are still meant to matter.

CommandPurposeCost

Click a command row to copy it. These are Manja SMP's teleport prices.

USEFUL WITH TELEPORTS

Requests and named homes.

SERVER GUIDE / TOWNS & TOWNY

Towns are land, people, and a budget.

Towny gives settlements ownership of land, a shared bank, residents, claims, and town chat. Expanding a town also creates an ongoing financial responsibility.

CREATE A TOWN$10,000

Paid when you establish a new town.

DAILY UPKEEPParcel-based

Automatically taken from the town balance.

EXPANSIONCosts more over time

More claimed parcels means higher daily upkeep.

CORE TOWNY COMMANDS

The commands a resident or mayor actually needs.

SERVER GUIDE / PLAYER SHOPS

Player shops with ChestShop.

ChestShop turns an ordinary chest and sign into a persistent player-run store. It is how you can sell goods to other players — or offer to buy goods from them — without both people being online.

CREATE A SHOP

Chest + sign + four lines.

  1. Place and stock a chest.

Put in the items you want customers to be able to buy.

  2. Place a sign by the chest.

    Use ChestShop's four-line sign format.

  3. Set quantity and prices.

B is the price a customer pays to buy from you. S is the price your shop pays a customer who sells to it.

  4. Keep it supplied.

A selling shop needs stock. A buying shop needs chest space and enough money in the owner's balance.

EXAMPLE SIGN
leave blank
16
B 50:40 S
?

Customers buy 16 items for $50, or sell 16 items to the shop for $40. Using ? lets ChestShop identify the item from the chest/sign interaction.

B = BUY

The price the customer pays to buy the listed quantity from your chest.

S = SELL

The price your shop pays the customer when they sell the listed quantity into your chest.

SERVER GUIDE / JOBS

Earn money while doing useful work.

Jobs is another way to make money beyond selling to the Admin Shop. Go to the Jobs building at spawn first: /jobs and its subcommands only work while you are inside the building.

HOW IT WORKS

Choose a profession

Jobs reward activities such as gathering, mining, farming, crafting, fishing, building, and combat. Visit the Jobs building at spawn and use /jobs there to browse the available professions and payouts.

WHERE TO START

Jobs building at spawn

Enter the Jobs building at spawn before using any Jobs command. Start with /jobs while you are inside, then browse or join from there.

USEFUL JOBS COMMANDS

Browse, join, and track progress.

SERVER GUIDE / EVERYDAY COMMANDS

Commands you'll actually use.

Homes, teleport requests, money, and private messages. Teleport commands use the prices listed in the Travel article.

SERVER GUIDE / MCMMO

Skills, levels, and parties.

mcMMO adds long-term progression to normal survival activities. Your skills improve as you use them, and parties give groups their own progression and chat tools.

SERVER GUIDE / PVP & DUELS

Open-world PvP and structured duels.

Normal survival PvP is opt-in. Duels are a separate structured fight system designed for a clean match instead of risking your normal survival gear.

OPEN-WORLD PVP

Open-world PvP

Both players need PvP enabled for normal player combat.

STRUCTURED DUELS

Duels preserve your survival inventory

Duels take place in chosen arenas. You select a fight kit, so the duel uses match gear rather than your survival inventory. Your normal inventory is preserved and not affected by the match.

WHAT A DUEL LOOKS LIKE

Challenge → arena → kit → fight.

  1. Challenge a player.

Send a duel request, optionally with a bet.

  2. Choose the match setup.

The fight takes place in a selected arena using one of the server's duel kits.

  3. Fight with match gear.

Your regular survival inventory stays out of the fight and is preserved.

  4. Return to survival.

When the match ends, the duel environment is separate from your normal survival loadout.

SERVER GUIDE / VOTING

Voting from inside the game.

The homepage has the voting links. These commands are useful when you are already in-game.
